“Convergence at Rest” captures a quiet moment along the coast of Crete, where a solitary sailboat rests, held in place by lines connecting it to the shore. Above, a field of dots and lines extends across the sky, echoing the network of ropes below. The boat becomes a symbol of individuality, surrounded by relationships that persist even in stillness. Through the interplay of natural scenery, human-made structures, and geometric intervention, the work explores how connection remains present even when movement ceases.
