Narratives in Latin-American Art

Pipe Yanguas participated in “Narratives in Latin-American Art,” a group exhibition presented at ArtServe in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from October 13 to December 30, 2022, in partnership with Latin American Art Pavilion. Invited as the exhibition's muralist artist, Yanguas created “The Wave,” a site-specific intervention across the exterior walls of the ArtServe building. Using his distinctive visual language of dots and lines, the mural transforms the building's architecture into an expansive composition exploring repetition, movement, and interconnectedness. The exhibition's opening reception took place on October 13, 2022, with Yanguas in attendance and a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the mural. Painted in October 2022, “The Wave” remains installed on the building as of October 2026, extending the project's presence well beyond the exhibition's closing date.
