Artesano × P!PE

Pipe Yanguas collaborated with Artesano to create a limited-edition collection of 50 hand-painted Panama hats, bringing together traditional Ecuadorian craftsmanship and contemporary art. Handwoven by Ecuadorian artisans using natural toquilla straw, each hat is individually painted by Yanguas with his distinctive visual language of dots and lines. The collection features two styles, Urbano and Clásico, with color variations inspired by nature: black, reflecting Ecuador's mountainous landscapes, and gray and blue, evoking the sand and water of Miami's beaches. Rooted in the artist's belief that “We Are All Connected,” the collaboration transforms a traditional handcrafted accessory into wearable art, celebrating the relationship between individuality, craftsmanship, nature, and human connection.
